Job summary

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a Psychology Teacher in Rotherham to deliver A Level Psychology and BTEC programmes for post-16 learners in a supportive FE environment. You will teach across Level 3 Psychology, covering topics from Social Influence to Research Methods, and help students develop research and critical thinking skills through practical investigations.

A relevant degree and recognised teaching qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or related subject.
• Qualified teacher status (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Level 3 Psychology.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the discipline.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience teaching both A Level and BTEC Psychology is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 3 Psychology programmes (A Level & BTEC).
• Help students develop understanding of human behaviour, mental processes and psychological research.
• Support students in developing research, analytical and critical thinking skills through practical investigations.
