Job summary

Prospero Teaching is working with a highly regarded Further Education provider in Rotherham to recruit a passionate Psychology Teacher to deliver both A Level Psychology and BTEC Psychology programmes.

This role involves teaching Level 3 Psychology and supporting students to develop understanding of human behaviour, mental processes and psychological research, with opportunities to contribute to the Social Sciences department and progression to university and careers in Psychology and related

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or related subject is required.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Psychology at Level 3.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for the discipline.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 3 Psychology programmes.
• Support students to develop understanding of human behaviour and psychological research.
• Develop students' research, analytical and critical thinking through practical investigations.
• Support post-16 learners in their progression to university and careers.
