Randstad Education is recruiting a Psychology Teacher for a supportive secondary school in Brixham, Devon. You will deliver engaging lessons to GCSE and A-Level students and support exam preparation.

The role is full-time, temporary with a starting date ASAP and potential extension beyond October half-term. You will join a collaborative department and contribute to ongoing curriculum development while maintaining high expectations.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS essential.
• Experience teaching Psychology at GCSE & A-Level.
• Experience with UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Psychology and passion for social sciences.
• Available to commence duties immediately.
• Enhanced DBS check via Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Psychology lessons aligned with GCSE/A-Level curriculums.
• Assess and report student progress with constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment for discussions.
• Adapt teaching to meet varied ability levels.
• Prepare learners for upcoming assessments and exams.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curricular support.
