Job summary

Arden University is seeking a Lecturer in Psychology to join our Blended Learning team and deliver high-quality teaching, supervision and assessment. You will lead modules, design digital materials and provide proactive academic coaching to a defined caseload of students.

The role requires an MSc in Psychology with GBC eligibility, strong data analysis, and experience in HE teaching, assessment and pastoral care.

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in Psychology with eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognized by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
• Excellent data analysis and evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in teaching, learning, assessment, dissertation supervision, and pastoral care in Higher Education.
• AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or willingness to achieve within 12–18 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent teaching, learning opportunities and dissertation supervision.
• Lead and develop modules, ensuring high-quality learning materials and curriculum development.
• Design digital teaching material to meet defined learning objectives.
• Undertake assessment marking, design authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.
• Support student success as a Personal Academic Coach (PAC) to a defined caseload of students.
• Manage teaching and student success activities with guidance as needed.
• Undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning.
• Contribute to School level activities such as reviewing ethics applications and supporting research methods workshops.
