Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Coventry, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, with flexible hours available to fit around your availability.

This is a temporary position with pay rates quoted as competitive daily pay. Ideal for Psychology graduates seeking hands-on experience in educational psychology, counselling or related fields.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Special School | Coventry

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable hands‑on experience working with children and young people?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Coventry, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Child Psychology, SEND or other therapeutic professions.

The role:

Coventry

Monday - Friday

8:30am - 3:30pm

What you'll be doing:
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with SEN
  • Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and development

Requirements:
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Appropriate refereneces
  • Police check & right to work (applicable for overseas candidates)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
