Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving primary school in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychology graduate or someone with SEN experience to develop their experience and skills whilst working in a team of friendly and dedicated staff. You will make a difference to the life and education of a pupil with SEN.

Are you a compassionate Psychology graduate who is eager to build some school-based experience and would relish the chance to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant?

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – The role:

  • Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Long-term, full-time support role
  • Working in one school for the entire academic year, no day-to-day supply
  • Supporting SEN students inside and outside the classroom
  • Work with students on a 1:1 & group basis
  • Interviewing and starting ASAP

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Person specification:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology
  • Strong academic background e.g. A Levels and GCSEs
  • Prior experience supporting people with SEN
  • Desire to make a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN
  • Supportive and patient attitude
