Job summary

Protocol Education Limited in North Shields is seeking a Psychology Graduate to support students in a welcoming secondary school. You will apply psychology knowledge to education, behaviour, and inclusion while gaining practical experience working with young people.

You will work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting those with ASC, ADHD and SEMH needs and helping develop confidence and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Protocol Education is recruiting a motivated Psychology Graduate to support students in a welcoming secondary school in North Shields. The Role

As a Psychology Graduate, you may work as a:

• SEND Teaching Assistant
• SEMH Support Assistant
• Behaviour Support Assistant
• Learning Mentor
• Inclusion Support Assistant
• Pastoral Support Assistant
• Student Wellbeing Mentor

You’ll gain invaluable experience by:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Working with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs and additional learning needs.
• Helping students develop confidence, resilience and emotional regulation skills.
• Supporting positive behaviour strategies within the classroom.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
