Job summary

Vincere in Mitcham is seeking a Psychology Graduate to join as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a supportive partner school. You will provide classroom and small-group support to 4-16 year olds with SEND and SEMH, under the guidance of the SENCO, with ongoing training.

The role runs on an initial 1-year contract commencing September or October 2026, paying £500-£650 per week via PAYE, with potential extensions for those wishing to remain at the school.

• Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.

Psychology Graduate (SEND Teaching Assistant)

Take the opportunity to secure a Psychology Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant role where you will build the self-esteem, self-worth, independence and confidence of Secondary School children who have distressing and above average levels of emotional stress.

Based at one of our supportive partner schools in Mitcham, you will work under the guidance of an experienced SENCO, Pastoral Support Officers and Heads of Years; receiving ongoing training and development throughout your role.

Working in-class and providing small group support in an adjacent learning space, you will be tasked with improving the academic, social and emotional development of students with SEND and SEMH needs.
