Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Godalming is seeking a Psychology graduate to support pupils with special educational needs across local schools. This role offers hands-on experience working with children with autism, ADHD and SEMH, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, build trusting relationships and collaborate with teachers and SENCOs. Previous SEN experience isn't required; a 2:1 in Psychology and a genuine passion for helping

Qualifications

  • 2:1 or above Psychology degree (or equivalent).
  • Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy and resilience.
  • Calm and consistent approach.
  • Ability to build professional relationships.
  • Previous SEN experience is desirable, but not essential.

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
