We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a SEN school in North Bristol. The school caters to students from KS1-5 with ASC, providing personalized academic, emotional, social, sensory, and physical learning experiences for autistic students, many with needs such as ASD, SEMH, and PLMD. The environment promotes success, progress, self-confidence, and high self-esteem, fostering a positive, can-do attitude towards learning and social interaction.
Your understanding of human behaviour, communication, development, and mental health enables you to make a meaningful difference in a SEND setting. You will apply your academic knowledge practically, helping students overcome barriers, build trust, and progress in ways that matter to them. Many psychology graduates pursue careers in Educational or Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or SEN teaching.
