Job summary

Axcis Education is recruiting a Psychology Graduate to work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in Birmingham area schools, starting ASAP. This full-time role supports students aged 15–18 who may have autism, ADHD or SEMH needs.

Prior school experience is not required, but any volunteering or professional support for individuals with additional needs is welcome. Role involves empathetic, patient engagement to promote learning, confidence and behaviour strategies in a structured setting.

Qualifications

• Psychology graduate sought for hands-on role
• 1:1 support to students aged 15–18
• No prior school experience required but relevant volunteering/support helps

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students aged 15–18 with AS/NMH considerations
• Help students stay engaged in lessons and develop coping strategies
• Support adolescents with additional needs in a structured school setting
