Job summary

Find Medical is recruiting an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a specialist school-based service in Halifax on a permanent, part-time basis. You’ll work with children and young people, providing psychological assessment and intervention to support emotional, behavioural and developmental needs.

The role requires HCPC registration and experience with SEN/SEND/SEMH, with a salary up to £65,980 pro-rated for part-time hours and a 3-day week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Practitioner Psychologist with registration in good standing.
• HCPC registered and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting children and young people in school settings.
• Experience with SEN/SEND and/or SEMH is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £65,980 per annum (already pro-rated)

Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week

FIND Medical is recruiting for an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to join a specialist school-based service in Halifax on a permanent, part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for a Psychologist with experience supporting children and young people, particularly those with SEN, SEND and/or SEMH needs, looking to work within a specialist education setting.

The Role

You’ll work closely with children and young people alongside education and multidisciplinary professionals, providing psychological assessment and intervention to support their emotional, behavioural and developmental needs.

Requirements

• Qualified Practitioner Psychologist
• HCPC registered
• Experience working with children and young people
• Previous school or education-based experience highly desirable
• Experience supporting SEN, SEND and/or SEMH
• Strong assessment, formulation and intervention skills
• Confident working collaboratively with education and multidisciplinary teams
