Job summary

Thurrock and Brentwood Mind in Thurrock, England, invites applications for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP). The role involves delivering low-intensity CBT-based self-management interventions to adults with mild to moderate anxiety and depression in community settings.

You will work across Thurrock Health Centre and partner sites, with flexible locations and interpreters when needed, and join a partnership with Inclusion Thurrock NHS Talking Therapies Service.

Qualifications

• Current PWP registration with BABCP or BPS (or willingness/ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement).
• Provide evidence based low intensity CBT based self-management interventions for mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
• Work with diverse communities and ages, using interpreters when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based low-intensity CBT-based self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
• Work across community settings including GP surgeries and VCSE settings to reach people in Thurrock.
• Collaborate with The Thurrock Health Centre and Inclusion Thurrock NHS Talking Therapies Service.
