Job summary

HPFT's NHS Talking Therapies in Stevenage is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join its supportive team. You will work with service users to access psychological therapies, alongside PWPs, with regular supervision from Clinical Seniors and Line Managers.

This is a full-time hybrid post based in Stevenage, with the option to work part-time if requested, requiring two on-site days per week and occasional travel within Hertfordshire.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).
  • Registered with BABCP/BPS or evidence of application.
  • Significant experience with mental health in healthcare settings.
  • Commitment to inclusive and anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Able to work on site in Stevenage at least two days a week and cover other Hertfordshire areas.

Responsibilities

  • Support service users to access psychological therapies alongside the PWP team.
  • Receive regular supervision from Clinical Seniors and Line Managers.
  • Work with PWPs and the wider team to deliver care.
  • Attend the Stevenage office at least twice per week in this hybrid role.

Then please read on… NHS Talking Therapies in Stevenage needs another PWP to join its brilliant team! You'll work alongside other PWPs and the wider team, supporting service users to access psychological therapies, and receiving regular supervision and support from Clinical Seniors and Line Managers. We are recruiting for a full time post, but will consider applicants who wish to work part time (if this is your preference, please make this clear in your supporting statement).

  • Able to work on site in Stevenage at least two days a week and access other areas of Hertfordshire on occasion.
Where Would I Be Based?
You would be based in Stevenage and would be part of an experienced and supportive team. This post is a hybrid-working role and there would be an expectation for the post holder to attend the office in Stevenage at least twice a week.
