Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking independent practitioners for a fully remote position based in the UK, offering £75 per session. Our team at ProblemShared is dedicated to providing exceptional care, leveraging People, Data, and Technology to support individuals on their mental health and neurodevelopmental journeys.

ProblemShared operates at the forefront of digital healthcare, delivering high-quality ADHD and Autism assessments, along with support services such as psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy. We serve NHS, university, and insurer contracts, fostering a community of experts committed to knowledge sharing and clinical excellence.

The Role

This pathway involves providing up to 10-20 sessions of talk therapy to members referred through internal assessment pathways, many with Autism, ADHD, or SpLD diagnoses. We seek experienced therapists with robust training in working with children, young people, and families, especially those experienced in neurodiversity and learning differences.

You Will
  • Have knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, autism, SpLD, Dyspraxia, etc.
  • Provide adapted therapy for neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Understand the impact of childhood trauma on mental health.
  • Utilize therapeutic interventions to reduce distress, impulsivity, anxiety, and self-neglect.
  • Plan and deliver mental health care, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to management plans.
  • Apply safeguarding principles and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Work effectively within a team, organize workload, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality care.
Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Postgraduate training as a talking therapist (Diploma or higher).
  • At least two years of supervised post-qualification practice.
  • Full accreditation with a recognized body (HCPC, BABCP, UKCP, BACP).
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations and following NICE guidelines.
  • Experience working with children and young people for a minimum of two years.
  • Proficiency in remote therapy delivery and current indemnity insurance.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
