Do you want to join a small, fun and well-regarded Liaison team in Buckinghamshire?
We are seeking a Psychiatric Liaison Service Clinician to join our Psychiatric Liaison Service. The purpose of the Bucks Psychiatric Liaison Service (PLS) is to provide a liaison psychiatry service for patients in acute psychiatric states (psychosis, severe depression, dementia, and delirium) presenting to the Acute Hospital Trust, and where appropriate, provide assessment, liaison, and treatment advice to meet mental health as well as physical needs.
Along with crisis assessments within hospital settings, we also provide expert mental health advice, support, and training to staff. You must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the care provided is safe, effective, and of high quality.
We are a strong team working towards PLAN accreditation and seek someone with proven team working skills. Please note this role requires clinicians to work 3 long days per week on a rota system with 4 rest days.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential. If you are outside the UK, you must be fully qualified, have passed your OSCE, and hold an NMC pin or HCPC registration.
