Job description

Job Title: PSV Workshop Manager

Salary: £45,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Western Super-Mare

About your new Workshop Manager role:

1. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure efficient management of the vehicle fleet.
2. Drive workshop efficiency by effectively managing workloads, prioritising repairs, and minimising vehicle downtime.
3. Manage resources effectively, including staffing, overtime, holiday scheduling, and parts inventory.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role:

1. Relevant Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) in a relevant engineering discipline.
2. Advanced Irtec Accreditation.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a PSV or HGV background, leading a team of engineers.
4. A Transport Manager CPC qualification and PSV license would be advantageous.
