Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is hiring a PSV/HGV trainer at our Perivale site in West London. The role offers full teacher training and a clear pathway into education for experienced PSV/HGV technicians who want to move off the tools.

You will train apprentices toward PSV engineering qualifications, delivering a mix of practical and theory-based sessions. The position runs Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with a private pension and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 PSV/HGV qualification.
• Extensive PSV/HGV industry experience.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and training others.
• Willing to undergo teacher training.
• Experience mentoring apprentices is a plus.

Responsibilities

PSV / HGV Trainer (Full Training Provided) Perivale (West London) 40,000 - 45,000 + Full Teacher Training + Private Pension + Christmas Shutdown + Career Progression.

Are you an experienced PSV, HGV or Heavy Vehicle Technician looking to move off the tools and into a rewarding career where you can pass on your skills? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Automotive Academy with over 50 years of experience, specialising in high-quality automotive training and apprenticeship programmes. The organisation continues to grow and now supports over 500 students across multiple locations, with a strong reputation for delivering industry-focused training.

In this role, you will train and support apprentices working towards their PSV engineering qualifications, delivering a mixture of practical and theory-based training. You will use your industry experience to help learners develop their technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence, preparing them for a successful career within the PSV industry. The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified PSV or HGV technician with strong industry experience. Candidates with a Light Vehicle qualification may also be considered where they have significant experience working within the HGV or PSV industry. No previous teaching experience is required, as full teacher training and ongoing development will be provided. The organisation is looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about their trade and wants to pass their knowledge and experience on to the next generation. The Person:

• Level 3 qualification in PSV, HGV or Heavy Vehicle Engineering
• Strong industry experience within PSV, HGV or Heavy Vehicle engineering
• Light Vehicle candidates considered where they have significant HGV or PSV industry experience
• Genuine passion for passing on your skills and developing the next generation of technicians
• Positive attitude with a genuine desire to build a long-term career in training
• No previous teaching experience required - full training will be provided
