Salary: £36,200 - £42,200 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PCV Electrician / Electrically biased Mechanic/Electrician to join our Engineering Team at our Walkergate Depot in Newcastle upon Tyne.

At Stagecoach North East, we operate over 400 vehicles, connecting passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside. Our engineering teams ensure our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our Walkergate depot is a purpose-built facility operating 103 buses and coaches.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our maintenance team, ensuring our vehicles are maintained and repaired, remaining available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times.

This is a shift-based role, with shifts any 5 days over 7, to be discussed at interview.

A PCV license is preferred but not essential; training will be provided as required.

NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.

Salary: Potential to earn £36,200 - £42,200 annually, with some overtime and ongoing pay negotiations.
