Job summary

Diamond Bus Ltd. in Heathrow is seeking an experienced Engineer to join their Engineering Team. You will maintain and repair a modern fleet of buses and coaches. The position offers a supportive team environment and various company benefits including free travel.

Qualifications include experience as an HGV Mechanic and relevant engineering credentials. The role requires working 12-hour shifts, with 4 on and 4 off schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant engineering qualifications.
• Experience with maintaining and repairing buses and coaches.
• Able to work shifts and attend roadside breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance on our fleet of buses.
• Diagnose faults and repair components as required.
• Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing.
• Attend to roadside breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.

Skills

Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic

Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs

Valid UK driving license with PCV entitlement

IRTEC certification

Education

Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)

Salary: £23.00 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Engineering Team at our Heathrow depot. You will be a key player within the team to maintain and repair a modern / varied fleet of Buses and Coaches.

Working Hours / Schedule:
12 hour shifts, 06:00 - 18:00, 4 on 4 off,

Afew things we require from you...

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic
• Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)
• Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
• A valid UK driving license, preferably with a PCV entitlement
• IRTEC

Your responsibilities...
