Prudential Risk Manager - £60,000-£65,000 - Retail Banking

My client is a leading retail bank based just outside Leicester, seeking a prudential risk manager to work across their enterprise risk function. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key role in rolling out their ERM framework.

The role offers flexibility for remote work, with travel to the office 1-2 times a week required.

Following recent board approval of their Enterprise Risk Framework, they are building their enterprise risk team to support this initiative. Joining at this time offers exciting challenges and opportunities, including building key relationships and gaining exposure across the Building Society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Prudential Regulations to write policies that meet regulatory requirements.
• Have exposure to credit, liquidity, and operational risk frameworks, and be able to work on ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
• Technical skills in Python, SAS, SQL are advantageous.
• Build relationships with all business areas to ensure policies are embedded correctly.
• Deliver sign-off on all policies across the bank.
• Work closely with the C-Suite and business users to implement policies.
• Challenge users to ensure policy adherence.
• Represent ERM at monthly committee meetings.
• Experience working with PRA is required.
