Job Description:

My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK, looking for a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key role in rolling out their prudential risk framework and supporting clients along the way.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely, but will require occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.

As the business grows, they aim to strengthen their Prudential risk team to maintain their strong position with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. Joining now presents exciting challenges and opportunities, including building key relationships and gaining organizational exposure.

I am looking to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Understanding of Prudential Regulations to write policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualification.
• Comfort working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defence.
• Exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, including ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
• Ability to build relationships across business areas to ensure policy implementation.
• Capability to work from the top down, collaborating closely with the C-suite and business users.
• Ability to challenge users to ensure policy adherence.
