Job Description:

My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK, seeking a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key role in implementing their prudential risk framework and supporting clients.

The role offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.

As the business expands, they aim to strengthen their Prudential risk team to maintain their strong position with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. The ideal candidate will:

• Understand Prudential Regulations to write and review policies ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
• Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
• Have exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, and be familiar with ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
• Build relationships across business areas to ensure proper policy embedding.
• Work collaboratively with senior management and operational staff to implement policies.
• Challenge users to ensure policies are adhered to regularly.
