Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated PRU English Teacher to support students who may have experienced exclusion, SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, or significant disruption to their education in Manchester. This is a full-time role starting September 2026 with a competitive daily rate.

You will deliver engaging lessons to small groups, adapt your teaching to individual needs, and work with support staff and external agencies to monitor progress and help vulnerable learners

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated PRU English Teacher to support students who may have experienced exclusion, SEMH needs, ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, or significant disruption to their education.

The Role

As a PRU Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons to small groups of pupils, adapting your teaching to meet individual needs while creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment.

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience with SEMH, SEND, Alternative Provision, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Resilience, patience, and adaptability.
• A passion for supporting vulnerable young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
