Job summary

Standard Life plc in London (UK) is seeking a Pricing Actuarial Analyst to join the Pension Risk Transfer team. You will work on Bulk Purchase Annuity pricing, cashflow modelling and complex actuarial calculations from day one, with mentorship from experienced actuaries.

The role offers exposure to BPA transactions, data cleansing in collaboration with Client Services, and opportunities to develop pricing expertise while supporting retirement solutions for pension schemes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Actuarial cash flow modelling in bespoke projects
• Strong DB pensions knowledge incl GMP, franking, deferred benefits
• Understanding Solvency II, Matching Adjustment, BPA pricing
• Collaborates with stakeholders to interpret data and assumptions

Responsibilities

• Support pricing and modelling of BPA transactions
• Produce cash flow and pricing models for BPAs
• Coordinate data cleanses and GMP equalisation with Client Services
• Coach and mentor junior team members and manage small projects
