Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Protein Scientist to plan and carry out experiments and analysis, enabling effective technology transfer and the development of fit-for-purpose processes aligned with customer requirements.

You will document all laboratory work in standard notebooks, report results in technical documents, liaise with project teams across development and manufacturing, ensure safety and COSHH compliance, provide first-line support for manufacturing runs,

Qualifications

• Plan and carry out experiments and analysis to enable tech transfer and process development.
• Record all laboratory work in official notebooks and compile results for reports.
• Interact with clients professionally as required.
• Follow laboratory procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Follow established protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate with PDev, ADev, QC and manufacturing to share results.
• Provide manufacturing support for first-time operations and troubleshoot.
• Maintain control of the development lab and related areas.
• Ensure safety, hygiene standards and COSHH compliance.
• Provide on-the-job training to new or inexperienced personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out experiments and analysis per project lead.
• Record lab work in notebooks and compile results for technical reports.
• Communicate with clients in a professional manner when required.
• Follow procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Support manufacturing by troubleshooting and enabling first-time runs.
