Job summary

Barking & Dagenham College invites applications for a Protective Services Lecturer to join our team on a full-time basis (36 hours per week) at the Rush Green Campus. The role involves preparing learners across Protective Services to progress into employment, further qualifications or Higher Education, and delivering theory and practical units with a focus on public safety topics.

The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one, have FE/HE teaching experience,

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in Further Education or Higher Education sectors.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to diverse learners.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach Protective Services modules to learners using theory and practical sessions.
• Develop lessons aligned to Teaching, Learning and Assessment framework and support learner progress.
• Contribute to course development and delivery, including use of digital platforms.
