Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Prostate Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist to work across Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover. The role offers progression from Band 6 to Band 7 with a structured development programme and a supportive CNS team.
You will deliver expert clinical care along the patient pathway, triage referrals, support new diagnosis clinics and manage a caseload within a prostate cancer service that collaborates with MDT and palliative care teams.
Our cultural ambition is to have a culture that places people at the heart of all we do, where we all belong, and where learning, improvement and excellence thrive.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and supportive Prostate Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Working across our sites in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
This developmental post is suitable for an experienced nurse looking to progress into a specialist role or an established CNS seeking further development. Appointment will be made at Band 6 or Band 7 depending on experience and competency, with a structured development programme available to support progression.
As part of our forward-thinking service, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert clinical support throughout the patient pathway, helping to ensure timely diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients with prostate cancer.
Our vision is to provide outstanding care for every patient.
