Prosecutions Lawyer, East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £42,650 - £46,780

Responsibilities

1. Following an initial training period, spend 60-80% of your time in court prosecuting a wide range of offences, utilizing your skills to achieve desired outcomes.
2. Remaining time will be dedicated to case preparation.
3. Participate in induction training, bespoke modules, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching, making a career as a Prosecutions Lawyer accessible to lawyers considering a change.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in criminal prosecutions.
• Qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales.
• Experience in a contentious area is preferable but not essential; open to lawyers from all disciplines eager to learn.
• Ability to make well-reasoned decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
