Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is hiring a Systems Engineer for the propulsion centre of excellence at the Harwell site. You will apply space propulsion experience (chemical or electrical) across multiple project phases, interacting with customers, PMO and suppliers to ensure delivery of propulsion subsystems.

The role involves leading design justification and technical documentation, supporting trade-offs and developing test and integration plans within the Systems V framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Space Engineering or physics or related discipline.
• Direct propulsion space engineering experience desirable.
• Experience designing propulsion subsystems (chemical or electric) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead propulsion subsystem activities through Phase A–E for satellite programs.
• Interface with customer technical teams, PMO, AIT and other subsystems.
• Develop and maintain TRD baseline for propulsion subsystem.
• Support system-level propulsion trade-offs and optimization discussions.
• Prepare design justification documentation for major reviews.
• Consolidate technical documentation across project milestones.
