Job summary

J.P. Morgan in the United Kingdom is seeking a Strategy & Proposition Manager to shape current account propositions for the UK market.

You will translate customer needs and market dynamics into actionable propositions, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive commercial performance and regulatory alignment. Reporting into the Corporate Functions Digital team, you will own analytics, business cases, and governance to optimise product and proposition performance across acquisition,

• Experience in product strategy, proposition, strategy, or consulting.
• Strong quantitative skills, and commercial knowledge of the retail banking industry.
• Experience partnering with product delivery teams to ship customer-facing propositions, features and experiences.
• Ability to balance customer value, economics, and risk and compliance constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to current account proposition strategy.
• Lead proposition development by translating customer needs and market dynamics into clear propositions.
• Run analytics and targeted deep-dives on commercial performance (e.g. acquisition, primacy, unit economics).
• Build business cases and sizing; prioritize initiatives across acquisition, activation, engagement, servicing, and retention.
• Partner with delivery teams to shape requirements, validate hypotheses, and support launch readiness.
• Monitor and optimize product, feature, and proposition performance post-launch and in business-as-usual.
• Manage governance to ensure proposition changes align with regulatory and conduct requirements, operational readiness, and risk appetite; support stakeholder updates and approvals.
