Job summary

Archer is working with J.P. Morgan to connect top talent for a Strategy & Proposition Manager role focused on the UK current account proposition.

You will translate customer needs into actionable propositions and drive commercial performance with cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory alignment and governance. Based in the UK, you will help shape innovative propositions, support launch readiness, and monitor performance post-launch to optimise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in product strategy, proposition, strategy, or consulting.
• Strong quantitative skills, and commercial knowledge of the retail banking industry.
• Experience partnering with product delivery teams to ship customer-facing propositions, features and experiences.
• Ability to balance customer value, economics, and risk and compliance constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to current account proposition strategy
• Lead proposition development by translating customer needs and market dynamics into clear propositions
• Run analytics and targeted deep-dives on commercial performance (e.g. acquisition, primacy, unit economics)
• Build business cases and sizing; prioritize initiatives across acquisition, activation, engagement, servicing, and retention
• Partner with delivery teams to shape requirements, validate hypotheses, and support launch readiness
• Monitor and optimize product, feature, and proposition performance post-launch and in business-as-usual
• Manage governance to ensure proposition changes align with regulatory and conduct requirements, operational readiness, and risk appetite; support stakeholder updates and approvals
