Job description

Our client is a leading global investment management firm looking to recruit a new Proposition Marketing Manager to join their Marketing and Communications team. The Proposition Marketing Manager will help the articulation of strategic priorities and define their value proposition.

The Proposition Marketing Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

• Create online and offline marketing materials to reflect the company’s value propositions for multiple areas and customise content to a range of audiences.
• Work closely with central and local marketing teams to design and activate campaigns to promote propositions.
• Produce training content for Sales and Marketing that meet key propositions and help position them with clients.
• Work alongside Product Marketing in designing a messaging framework that connects the company’s core propositions to their underlying products and solutions.
• Work with Investment Content and Media Relations to ensure the content pipeline supports the promotion of proposition and any campaign activity.
• Support internal and external events programme, sourcing opportunities to showcase propositions and work with participants to ensure content is on message.
• Act as point of contact for campaign-related assets.
• Manage responsibilities for the Proposition Marketing Executive.

The Proposition Marketing Manager will meet the following skillset:

• Experience within marketing or content roles (proposition/product marketing would also be an advantage).
• Knowledge of investments as well as an understanding of the commercial reality of the business.
• Experience managing senior and multi-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working in an international organisation.
• Motivated to work within a newly created team.
• Ability to effectively translate complex concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Have the gravitas to deal with senior stakeholders.
