Job summary

Post Office Ltd is seeking a Proposition Designer to join the Design & Proposition team on a 12 month FTC. You will conceptually design and deliver new format propositions and equipment, including 2D and 3D drawings, collaborating with Property, Marketing and Product teams to plan branches.

Based in London with hybrid working 1-2 days in the London office and occasional onsite travel, you will create branch layouts and signage, conduct site surveys, and develop design and operational manuals to

Qualifications

• Experience developing concepts and new designs for instore retail environments.
• Strong experience using AutoCAD and SketchUp and designing customer journeys.
• Experience establishing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and finishes used in retail/interiors.
• Demonstrated delivery of project milestones to achieve objectives.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations is beneficial.

What To Expect

As a Proposition Designer, you will join us on our journey and undertake a high-impact role on a 12 month FTC within our Design & Proposition team during an exciting period of transformation.

The Proposition Designer will conceptually design and deliver selected new format propositions and equipment including 2d and 3d drawings. Working closely with the wider Property, Marketing and Product teams to develop new concepts and plan branches, you will create branch layouts and signage design whilst conducting site surveys and creating accurate drawings.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience developing new formats within Retail to have a major impact on our transformation programme as you create design and operational manuals that support with integration into our fantastic network of Post Offices.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role you will have experience developing concepts and new designs specifically for an instore Retail environment.

As a Proposition Designer You Will Have Strong Experience Using AutoCAD And SketchUp And Designing Customer Journeys. In Addition To This, The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in establishing successful, cross-functional stakeholder relationships
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while working to strict deadlines
• A good technical understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and finishes used in retail and commercial interiors would be beneficial
• Demonstrable experience of leading on the delivery of project milestones to achieve key objectives
• Strong organisational skills with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of UK building regulations (beneficial but not essential)
