Job summary

WES is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join our team at the Basingstoke office. You will support the development and preparation of technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals and tenders for chemical dosing solutions across the water and utilities sectors.

Working with Project Delivery, Engineering, Production and Site Operations, you will translate client requirements into technical solutions, prepare cost estimates, and ensure proposals meet WES standards and deadlines

Qualifications

Experience in proposals, estimating, applications or similar technical environment.
Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs and engineering documentation.
Good commercial awareness with cost estimates and commercial implications.
Good time management to meet multiple tender deadlines.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Prepare technically compliant proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
Review client specifications, drawings and tender documentation to establish requirements.
Develop chemical dosing solutions with Engineering, Project Delivery and Production teams.
Prepare accurate project cost estimates and proposal pricing.
Conduct site assessment visits to gather information for proposals.
Coordinate with clients and suppliers to obtain technical information and lead-times.
Ensure proposals meet WES technical, commercial and compliance requirements and deadlines.
