Proposals Engineer / Tendering

We are currently recruiting for a Proposals Engineer with a background in Building Services Engineering, M&E, HVAC, or industrial engineering / manufacturing.

• Salary to £48K
• 25 days holiday
• Private medical, pension
• Flexible working hours with early finish Friday

Previous tendering and proposals experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential.

The Role

• Develop accurate and competitive proposals for large, high-value engineered-to-order industrial solutions, working in a team.
• Create basic design sketches using AutoCAD.
• Review tender documents and specifications.
• Calculate accurate costings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proposals are technically accurate and suitable.

Requirements

• Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to produce AutoCAD sketches for spatial design and costing purposes.
• Strong knowledge of tendering processes in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a Proposals Engineer, Tendering Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, or Mechanical Design Engineer.
