Job summary

JS Selection in Maidstone is seeking a Projects & Proposals Engineer to join a growing engineering business. You will split your time between delivering projects and preparing technical quotations, with full support to develop into a Project Manager as the company grows.

The role offers a 60/40 split between project management and quotations, with a clear pathway to progression and a benefits package. Salary £32,000–£40,000 depending on experience.

Looking for a role where no two days are the same?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you'll split your time between delivering projects and preparing technical proposals. It's ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, coordinating multiple activities and seeing projects through from quotation to completion.

You'll receive full support and have a genuine opportunity to develop into a Project Manager as the business continues to grow.

What you'll be doing

Approximately 60% of your time will be spent managing projects, with the remaining 40% focused on producing quotations and proposals.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing engineering projects from order through to completion
• Coordinating suppliers, customers and internal teams
• Preparing technical quotations and proposals
• Monitoring project timescales and budgets
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Maintaining accurate project documentation
• Building strong relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle
