My Client is recruiting for a Proposals Engineer in the Water Sector. In this role, you will be part of the pre-construction team, ensuring customers receive the best solutions by leveraging global experience.

This dynamic role involves working with like-minded professionals and experts both within the UK and internationally. We foster a team culture focused on collaboration and shared success.

You will be challenged to produce excellent proposals and accurate cost plans, with support throughout your development. A bespoke training program will be created with your line manager to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to excel and progress.

Your Responsibilities

1. Own the proposal and costing documents, leading internal coordination with team members.
2. Engage with and build relationships with our supply chain to request quotes and understand offerings.
3. Collaborate with the Sales Lead to ensure proposals meet customer needs.
4. Manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
5. Engage with international colleagues to incorporate best practices and expertise.
6. Attend site visits with the Sales Lead to discuss proposed solutions.
7. Maintain accuracy and customer focus in all tasks.

Experience and Qualifications

1. Engineering qualification, ideally in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
2. Experience in the Water Sector.
3. Proposals and costing experience, preferably in Water Engineering.
4. Keen to develop environmental solutions.
5. Interested in learning new water treatment technologies.
6. Confident in working on cost plans.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
8. Motivated to contribute to environmental improvements.
