Veolia is seeking a Proposal Writer in Cannock to craft persuasive, high-value tenders and showcase Veolia's solutions. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and stakeholders to build strategic, win-ready proposals.

The role demands expert written communication, the ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines, and a proactive approach to maintaining the central bid library. Hybrid working, 40 hours per week, and a 17.5% annual bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven bid writing experience on tenders valued over £500,000 specifically technical submissions within the energy sector
• Expert-level written communication skills and knowledge of proposal writing best practices
• Proficiency with Google suite packages and project management software
• Advanced business acumen and analytical abilities with expert-level attention to detail and proof reading skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple high-value tenders simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Responsibilities

• Craft persuasive, compelling proposals for high-value tenders that showcase Veolia's unique solutions, value, and competitive differentiation
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, sales teams, and stakeholders to gather information and develop strategic approaches for tender opportunities
• Craft well-structured proposals that address customer requirements while highlighting Veolia's unique strengths and capabilities
• Ensure all questions are answered to the highest possible standard to secure maximum available marks and adapt writing style to align with customer requirements
• Conduct thorough reviews and revisions to improve clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of proposals
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and adhering to company-wide proofing processes
• Maintain accurate records and save new material to the central 'bid library' for future use while keeping information updated in project management software
