Job summary

Howards Estate Agents is seeking an experienced Property Valuer to join in Basildon (and Great Yarmouth) and drive market share with an uncapped commission structure. Expect strong vendor relationships, active prospecting, and a role that rewards performance with a robust earning potential.

You will manage instructions, market properties, and close deals while delivering high levels of customer service. A company car and funded training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience as an estate agent progressing to the next career step.

• Ability to lead or support a team and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and buyers.
• Generate new and repeat business and gain new instructions.
• Market properties effectively and prepare brochures with photos and descriptions.
• Complete contracts and upsell additional products.
• Canvass local areas, door-knock, and distribute leaflets.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met on properties.

A day in the life of a Property Valuer with Howards Estate Agents in Great Yarmouth:

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with venders
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Gaining new instructions for properties to market
• Marketing properties to buyers utilizing various marketing skills
• Completing contracts on properties
• Upselling additional products
• Preparing brochures for each property with photos, and written descriptions
• Canvassing the local area
• Door knocking and leaflet dropping
• Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards

Essential Skills Of a Property Valuer

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Experience as an Estate Agent who is ready to the next step in their career
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
• Supporting your manager by helping to lead the team
• A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Good telephone manner
• Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
• Strong attention to detail
