Job summary

Corgi Insurance is seeking a hands-on Underwriter in London to own risk selection and pricing decisions across our book. You will assess, price, and bind risks, review submissions, and refine policy wordings while collaborating with brokers to structure deals.

The role requires 2–3+ years of underwriting experience, strong pricing and policy wording skills, and willingness to work from the office six days per week. Equity options are offered in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years underwriting experience at a carrier, MGA, or Lloyd's.
• Strong pricing, risk selection, and policy wording skills.
• Experience across multiple product lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, price, and bind risks per underwriting guidelines and appetite.
• Review submissions, analyze exposures, and make accept/decline/refer decisions.
• Draft, review, and refine policy wordings, endorsements, and coverage terms.
• Work closely with brokers and distribution partners to structure deals.
• Monitor performance of bound business and flag emerging trends.
