The ideal candidate has over 8 years in P&C insurance, strong actuarial credentials, and is comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. The role offers a salary range of £100,000 to £180,000, based on experience, plus meaningful equity.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in P&C insurance with deep actuarial or senior underwriting leadership experience.
• Experience owning a book: pricing, appetite, and results.
• Fluency across commercial lines and comfort with capital modeling.

Aufgaben

• Own and scale the group risk framework across carriers and MGAs.
• Partner with Head of Underwriting on guidelines and portfolio performance.
• Oversee pricing adequacy and reserving alongside actuarial function.
• Structure and negotiate reinsurance, including treaty design.
• Build risk infrastructure for international expansion with regulators.
• Work on capital allocation, new line launches, and M&A diligence.
