Property Partners Recruitment Ltd. in Weymouth invites applications for a Property Surveyor to join a growing commercial property investment business.

You will assist with day-to-day property portfolio management, develop occupier relationships and support landlord and tenant matters under the guidance of the Property Director. The position suits a graduate or assistant surveyor seeking a long-term career in commercial property, with exposure to asset management, acquisitions and development

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Real Estate, Property, Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in commercial property, surveying or property management desirable.
• Interest in commercial property investment and asset management.
• Knowledge of landlord & tenant matters advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, commercially minded and proactive.
• Working towards APC/MRICS or keen to pursue chartership desirable.
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio
• Developing strong relationships with occupiers and responding to their property requirements
• Supporting landlord & tenant matters including lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations and licence agreements
• Liaising with surveyors, solicitors, architects and other professional advisers
• Undertaking property inspections and identifying opportunities to improve asset performance
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities
• Assisting with maintenance, refurbishment and improvement projects
• Maintaining tenancy records and property management systems
• Undertaking market research and supporting wider asset management initiatives
• Reporting directly to the Property Director

• £38,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Surveyor to join a growing commercial property investment business with a diverse portfolio of retail, industrial, office and mixed-use assets.

Working closely with the Property Director, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of commercial property ownership, asset management and development. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or assistant-level surveyor looking to build a long-term career within commercial property, working across landlord & tenant matters, asset management, acquisitions and development within a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
