Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer for a permanent role in the South Devon region, with options for full or part-time hours around Exeter, Bovey Tracey or Torquay.

Ideally you will have experience in residential conveyancing and strong communication skills. The role offers a varied caseload and opportunities to mentor junior colleagues within a supportive team.

South Devon based with the option of working in and around Exeter, Bovey Tracey or Torquay

Salary range dependant on experience but can range between £40,000 - £70,000. Newly qualified Conveyancers will also be considered.

We are working with a well-established law firm looking to recruit a Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join its successful property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced legal professional to develop their career within a supportive team, with opportunities to work on a varied caseload and, for more experienced candidates, mentor junior colleagues. Duties will include:

• Managinga varied residential property caseload, including buying and selling properties, transfers of equity, shared ownership and remortgages.
• Providinga high-quality legal service to clients.

To be considered suitable you will need the following skills and experience:

• Experience handlingresidential conveyancing caseloads
• Either highly experienced or newly qualified conveyancers. Due to growth there are opportunities for a range of individuals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience as either a Residential Property Solicitor, Conveyancer, Conveyancing Lawyer,Conveyancing Associate,Property Associate Solicitor,Residential Property Lawyer, Commercial Property Lawyer will be required.
