Job summary

DJ Alexander in Edinburgh is looking for a Property Relationship Manager to join our city centre office. This full-time, permanent role offers a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with in-office duties handling maintenance requests from landlords, tenants and contractors.

You will deliver high-quality customer service, negotiate to resolve disputes, and work with senior coordinators to meet KPIs. We support career development and offer comprehensive benefits through Lomondlife.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance requests via phone, email and internal software for landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Explain landlord and tenant responsibilities to customers clearly.
• Ensure maintenance issues are logged and managed promptly.
• Negotiate to resolve conflicts and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with senior coordinators, team leaders and contractors to hit KPIs.

Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as Property Relationship Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position located in our city centre Edinburgh office 10 Sunnyside, Edinburgh, EH7 5RA. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The salary is £23,500pa.

What the job involves for a Property Relationship Manager:

• Managing day-to-day maintenance requests whilst delivering a high standard of customer service over the phone, emails and any other internal software from Landlords, Tenants and Contractors.
• Understanding Landlord and Tenants responsibilities when managing the day-to-day requests so we can be clear to customers around their responsibilities for the property.
• Ensuring maintenance issues are logged and managed effectively in a timely manner.
• Have strong negotiation skills to resolve conflict.
• Working with the senior coordinators, team leaders and contractors to ensure individual KPIs are achieved and escalate any issues when appropriate.

We're looking for individuals with qualities such as:

• Previous Property Management, or industry related experience preferred, but not essential
• Can demonstrate strong sales negotiation skills and be very competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes – both written and verbal
• A positive, proactive attitude, with a strong customer service focus
• Meticulous attention to detail and confident at relaying information
• Process driven, with efficient administration and organisational skills
• Ability to problem solve, be calm under pressure and a track record of exceeding client expectations.
• You must have the current legal right to work in the UK
