Job summary

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in London seeks a Delegated Property Analyst to drive analysis and performance monitoring of the property portfolio, enabling data-driven pricing, claims, and exposure decisions.

You will manipulate large datasets, develop KPI dashboards with Excel/Power BI, and collaborate with underwriting, pricing, claims, and actuarial teams to deliver timely MI and robust risk insights.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to manipulate large datasets.
• Solid knowledge of actuarial methods and pricing concepts.
• Understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles.
• Knowledge of Lloyd's market.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical output for Delegated Property portfolio and monitor performance.
• Manipulate large datasets to derive KPIs and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, claims, and exposure teams to automate tools.
• Prepare MI reports and KPIs for Syndicate planning and regulatory needs.
• Analyze pricing models and exposure data to support risk and new business initiatives.
• Support projects and develop analytical solutions for underwriting.
• Build relationships with Coverholders, Brokers and internal teams to strengthen trading.
• Engage with Lloyd's and market peers to stay informed.
