Magnus James in Reading is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join a well-respected independent estate agency. You will manage your own portfolio of residential properties, acting as the main contact for landlords and tenants.

The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, parking on site, a salary of £29,000–£30,000, and support with ARLA qualification. Join a friendly team committed to excellent customer service and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' property management experience.
• Confident and proactive tenancy management and problem solving.
• Enjoy building long-term relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Positive, progressive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Patience, resilience and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Strong communication, organisation and IT skills.
• Professional and well-presented approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of residential properties and acting as the main point of contact for landlords.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants, delivering excellent customer service.
• Managing tenancy issues from start to finish with practical solutions.
• Coordinating scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance; carrying out routine property inspections.
• Handling enquiries and resolving complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintaining accurate tenancy administration and compliance records.
• Staying up-to-date with current legislation to keep the portfolio compliant.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
