Property Manager

Location: Islington

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (hybrid role once settling period has been passed)

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 + Commission

We are currently recruiting for a Property Manager to join our thriving Property Management Department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property management and thrive working under pressure. We are looking for an energetic individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service levels and enjoys a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Main Duties:
  1. Embrace the Chestertons brand and core values
  2. Protect our Clients' assets and work in their best interests
  3. Retain management on the portfolio
  4. Prioritise and troubleshoot key maintenance issues (floods, boilers, leaks, and appliances)
  5. Scrutinise quotes on behalf of the client
  6. Understand how to add value when sending an inspection report
  7. Negotiate deposit deductions fairly and efficiently within required timeframes
  8. Understand KPIs required for the role
  9. Consistently leave notes on RPS and attach documents to the letters folder
  10. Set and follow up on tasks to manage issues and support colleagues
  11. Develop understanding of client accounts and statements
  12. Attend local branch meetings and fulfill inspection requirements
  13. Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with senior leadership
  14. Coordinate with supporting departments like lettings, compliance, accounts, and tenancy progression
  15. Support colleagues' growth and development
  16. Ensure portfolio compliance (e.g., EICR, Gas Safety Certificate)
  17. Adhere to department standards
  18. Inform tenants and landlords about tenancy end processes
  19. Guide clients on deposit dilapidations
