Job description

Property Manager - North Cheam

Salary - £26,000 - £30,000 (Including commission) + Car allowance

Due to continued growth, a great position has become available to join our client's property management department.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in a similar position who are seeking to advance their career in Property Management.

The successful Property Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of properties. You must be able to confidently manage your workload, stay organized, and address issues proactively.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow up and respond to all customer queries promptly.
  2. Build relationships with tenants, landlords, colleagues, and suppliers.
  3. Track tenancies and negotiate rental renewals aligned with market trends.
  4. Monitor and reduce rental arrears.
  5. Administer tenant procedures, including referencing and statement of accounts.
  6. Organize check-in and check-out inventory inspections.
  7. Book property inspections and prepare landlord reports.
  8. Log deposits with the DPS scheme, manage deposit deductions, and handle DPS claims.
  9. Coordinate repair quotes and necessary works.
  10. Prioritize daily tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  1. Excellent customer service skills.
  2. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Effective time management.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  5. Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. ARLA qualification is preferred.
  8. Valid, clean driving license and own vehicle are required for inspections.
