We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Property Manager to join a forward-thinking and innovative estate agency based in modern city centre offices in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing local business during an exciting period of expansion.

The Role

You will support the Lettings Portfolio Manager with the effective management of a portfolio of residential properties. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Report necessary repairs and maintenance to landlords, obtain authorisation for required work, and provide quotes when necessary.

Organise and coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.

Keep both tenants and landlords fully updated on the status of maintenance and repair jobs.

Conduct regular property inspections, document findings, and ensure any issues are addressed.

Organise and ensure completion of gas and electrical safety checks, maintaining up-to-date compliance records.

Ensure all properties comply with current health and safety legislation.

Oversee the quality of contractors' work and approve completed jobs.

Maintain the property management diary, including booking maintenance works, inventories, property visits, and checkouts.

Support with tenant move-ins and move-outs.

About You:

At least 1–2 years’ experience within the lettings industry

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

High attention to detail

Confident working independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence required
